Have you visited Johor Bahru(JB) before? Johor Bahru is a suitable place for a short trip and also a food paradise. Below are some recommended foods which we have visited before

1.Restoran Woon Kiang 汶強粿條仔(NON-HALAL)

Famous with their “kway teow kia” like mee with spices soup. You can choose their other dishes like halogen egg, tofu, and meat. Lots of foreigners and locals will have this as supper.

2. 3in1 Glutinous Rice Cake华仔三合一招牌炸年糕

I always buy them before I leave JB. Crispy and sticky fried rice cake with yam and potato. While durian season, you can eat their special durian flavor, if you are a durian lover you must have a try.

3.Restoran Kin Wah 锦华茶餐室

Restaurant Kin Wah located at JB famous heritage street called Tan Hiok Nee. There have lots of Instagrammable cafes and also local restaurants. It nearby Singapore, therefore, you will see lots of Singaporean queues at here to have a brunch.

4.Hiap Joo Bakery & Biscuit Factory协裕面包西果厂 Highlands

Since 1919, keep using traditional baking style to keep the bread tasty and nice. It just opposite Restaurant Kin Wah and you will know how it famous as every day have a long queue. Their shredded coconut bun is the famous and banana cake too.

5.Kah Kah Loke 佳佳乐苦瓜湯

Specialized in bitter gourd soup, full of bitter gourds with their recipe soup. And the other dishes also tasty you can try if you pass by. Have few branches around JB, not only at Johor Jaya.
